Switchfly needed a responsive, mobile-centric refresh to its travel e-commerce platform.
By working through the desktop version, and examining competitors’ sites, I conceptually aligned data patterns of air, lodging, and car booking experiences.
Aligned with the dev team — all design elements needed to conform to Bootstrap variables, enabling the scheme to be easily customized by clients.
Created InVision prototypes using long-form artboards in Adobe InDesign. In this case, InDesign was a better choice than Illustrator or Sketch as the comps were information-heavy and images and text could be anchored into a single editable flow.
Authored usability tests with usertesting.com, which records users working through portions of the prototype while capturing verbal impressions.
Provided CSS values for typography and elements to developers for the default template. Curated and optimized over 300 multi-resolution airline and auto rental logo icons.
